Privacy Policy — FireTag

Last updated: May 23, 2026

This policy applies specifically to FireTag. For product help or purchase questions, use FireTag Support.

1. Overview

FireTag ("the App") is operated by Raphael Momanyi ("we", "us"). This policy explains how inspection records, asset data, and captured photos are handled when you use the App.

2. Local-first storage

Inspection records, asset details, notes, signatures, and photos are stored on-device by default using Apple local storage frameworks.

3. No third-party data collection

The current FireTag product metadata states that the app does not use analytics SDKs, crash reporting SDKs, or third-party data collection services.

4. Camera and photo access

Camera access is used for scanning asset labels and capturing inspection evidence. Photo library access is used only when you choose an existing image for documentation. Images stay on your device unless you explicitly export or share them.

5. iCloud and Apple services

If iCloud is enabled by the user, syncing uses Apple CloudKit. FireTag does not receive that synced data on its own servers.

6. Exports

PDF and CSV exports are generated on-device and are shared only when you use the system share sheet or other iOS sharing destinations you choose.

7. Purchases

in-app purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit. We do not collect or store payment card information.

8. Contact

For privacy-related questions, contact us at support@firetag.app.
