1. Overview
Scrybe AI ("the App") is operated by SoftLog ("we", "us"). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
2. Content you choose to index
The App can index screenshots from your Photos library and (optionally) text snippets you copy to the clipboard. Any OCR text, tags, and search index data are stored locally on your device.
3. On-device processing
OCR and tagging are performed on-device using Apple frameworks (Vision / Core ML). We do not upload your screenshots, clipboard text, or search queries to external servers.
4. Permissions
If you grant Photos access, the App can read selected images (such as your Screenshots album) to index them. Clipboard features are optional and may require user interaction depending on iOS behavior.
5. Purchases and transaction data
If you choose to make or restore an in-app purchase, the transaction is processed by Apple using StoreKit. Apple may collect standard transaction information such as the product purchased, purchase date, and a transaction identifier. We do not collect or store sensitive financial information such as your payment card number, as payments are handled by Apple's secure App Store processing.
6. How purchase data is used
The App uses StoreKit transaction and entitlement information to verify and fulfill purchases (for example unlocking features or enabling unlimited history) and to enable restoration of purchases on the same Apple ID.
7. Analytics and advertising
The App does not include third-party advertising SDKs and we do not use third-party analytics trackers in the App. We may review aggregated sales reports provided by Apple for accounting and to understand which purchases are popular.
8. Data retention and deletion
Indexed content remains on your device until you delete it from within the App or uninstall the App. Apple retains transaction records according to its policies. Aggregated sales reports may be retained for accounting and compliance purposes as required by law.
