Terms of Use — ScanBrain

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using ScanBrain ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Operator

The App is operated by SoftLog ("we", "us").

3. Personal document tool

ScanBrain is a personal document organization tool. It does not provide legal, financial, medical, or compliance advice. You are responsible for how you use any extracted information.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you store and for safeguarding access to your device. You agree not to use the App for unlawful purposes.

5. Purchases (StoreKit)

The App may offer one-time purchases, auto-renewing subscriptions, and consumable in-app purchases. All payments are processed by Apple via the App Store and StoreKit. We do not process payments directly.

6. One-time purchases (OTP)

A one-time purchase unlocks designated features (for example, "Pro" features) on devices using the same Apple ID. Unless otherwise stated at purchase time, one-time purchases apply to the current version of the App and do not guarantee access to future premium features introduced in later versions.

7. Subscriptions (AI Pro)

If you purchase an auto-renewing subscription, it renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings. If you cancel, you will retain access to subscription features until the end of the paid period, after which subscription features will stop.

8. Consumables (AI Scan Packs)

Consumable purchases grant a specified number of AI scan credits (or similar usage-based credits). Credits are consumed when used, have no cash value, are generally non-transferable, and may not be refundable once used, subject to Apple's policies.

9. Pricing, billing, and taxes

Prices are shown in your local currency by the App Store (where available) and may include applicable taxes. Billing and receipts are handled by Apple. Any free trials, introductory pricing, or promotional offers are governed by Apple's terms and the offer details shown at purchase.

10. Refunds

Refunds for in-app purchases (including one-time purchases, subscriptions, and consumables) are handled by Apple. You can request a refund through Apple's support channels, subject to Apple's policies and eligibility requirements.

11. Availability and changes

We may update the App from time to time and may modify, add, or discontinue features (including premium features and pricing). We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Any subscription changes are managed through the App Store and may be subject to Apple's notice and consent requirements.

12. Account termination / misuse

The App does not require an account, but we may restrict access to features if we reasonably believe the App is being used unlawfully or abusively. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID and are governed by Apple's policies; we do not provide refunds outside of Apple's refund process.

13. Limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoftLog will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues.
