Privacy Policy — LiftIQ

Last updated: 2026-07-19

This policy applies specifically to LiftIQ. For product help or purchase questions, use LiftIQ Support.

1. Overview

LiftIQ ("the App") is a local-first fitness app operated by Raphael Momanyi ("we", "us"). The App uses the iPhone camera and Apple on-device frameworks to count exercise repetitions and provide supported form cues. No app account is required.

2. Workout Information

The App stores workout records you create, including selected exercises, repetitions, sets, duration, rest timing, completed dates, available form scores, detected form-fault categories, and app preferences. This information is stored locally on your device.

3. Camera and On-Device Pose Analysis

Camera access is used only when you start a camera-guided workout. Live frames are processed on your device using Apple camera and Vision technologies to derive pose, repetition, and form signals. The App does not upload camera frames to our servers and does not save those frames as photos or workout videos.

4. No Account or Workout Backend

The App does not require sign-in and we do not operate a backend that receives your workout history, camera feed, or form-analysis results. Core workout analysis and history are designed to remain on your device.

5. Purchases and Entitlement Information

If you purchase or restore access, Apple processes billing through the App Store and RevenueCat helps deliver and verify purchase entitlements. Apple and RevenueCat may process product identifiers, purchase, renewal, expiration, cancellation, and restore events, entitlement status, an anonymous app user identifier, and limited technical information needed to provide purchase services. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

6. Permissions

The App requests camera access for guided workouts. LiftIQ does not require microphone, precise location, contacts, photo-library, or HealthKit access for its current core experience. Spoken workout cues use device speech output and do not require microphone access.

7. Sharing

Workout summaries are shared only when you initiate a share action and choose a destination through iOS. LiftIQ does not automatically publish or send your workout information.

8. Third-Party Services

Purchase services are subject to Apple’s privacy policy at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/ and RevenueCat’s privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy. External legal or support links you choose to open are handled by your browser.

9. Retention and Deletion

Local workout information remains on your device until you delete workout history in the App or uninstall the App. Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase records under their own policies and legal obligations.

10. Security and Your Device

Keeping workout information on-device reduces unnecessary transfer, but no storage method is risk-starter. You are responsible for controlling access to your iPhone and maintaining device backups according to your preferences.

11. Children

LiftIQ is a general fitness tool and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum digital-consent age in the user’s jurisdiction. Minors should use exercise products only with appropriate parent, guardian, and professional guidance.

12. Changes and Contact

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App or applicable requirements change. For privacy questions or requests, contact us at support@socialreporthq.com.
