This policy applies specifically to Anchor. For product help or purchase questions, use Anchor Support.
1. Summary
Anchor is designed as a local-first recovery and habit-support app. Core recovery records are stored on your iPhone, the app does not require an account, and exports happen only when you choose to generate or share them.
2. Information You Enter
Depending on how you use Anchor, the app may store locally your recovery stage, habit categories, check-ins, cravings, slips, reduction options, journal notes, Anchor Score snapshots, intervention history, milestone data, and export records.
3. HealthKit Data
Anchor may request read-only HealthKit access to sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, and steps. HealthKit permission is optional. Anchor does not write recovery data to HealthKit and does not use HealthKit data for advertising.
4. No Account Requirement
Anchor does not require an app account for the core experience. Server-backed community, backup, group, and clinician portal features are not part of this portfolio-listed v1 workflow.
5. Purchases and in-app purchases
If you purchase or restore Anchor Pro, billing is handled by Apple and entitlement status is processed through RevenueCat. We do not collect payment card data directly.
6. Sharing and Reports
Reports and local data exports are generated only when you initiate them. Any share destination is selected by you through iOS share controls.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Local records remain on your device until you delete them in the app or uninstall Anchor. Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase records under their own policies.
