Privacy Policy — SafeScan

This policy applies specifically to SafeScan. For product help or purchase questions, use SafeScan Support.

1. Summary

Core scan and profile features are designed to work on-device. We use Apple and RevenueCat to process in-app in-app purchases and entitlement status. We do not sell your personal data.

2. Information We Process

Depending on how you use SafeScan, the app may store locally scan history and product records, optional profile information you enter for personalization, and app preferences and settings.

3. Purchase and entitlement information

If you purchase or restore a in-app purchases, billing and receipt processing is handled by Apple and RevenueCat. Data processed can include product identifiers (for example app entitlement identifiers), purchase, renewal, expiration, cancellation, and restore events, entitlement status (for example access to SafeScan Pro), and app user identifiers and technical metadata needed to validate purchases and prevent fraud.

4. Diagnostics and security metadata

We and our service providers may process limited technical data required for reliability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.

5. Third-Party Services

6. How We Use Information

We use data to provide app functionality, verify purchase entitlement and restore purchases, improve reliability and security, and comply with legal obligations.

7. Data Sharing

We share data only as needed with processors and platforms that enable the app to function (for example Apple and RevenueCat), legal compliance, and security operations. We do not sell personal information.

8. Data Retention

On-device data remains on your device unless you delete it. in-app purchases records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat under their own retention policies.

9. Your Choices and Rights

You can cancel or manage in-app purchases in Apple account settings, use Restore Purchases in SafeScan to re-sync entitlements, delete app data from within the app where provided, and contact us for privacy requests.

10. Children

SafeScan is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in violation of applicable law.

11. International Users

Service providers may process data in countries other than your own, subject to applicable legal safeguards.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Last updated date will be revised when changes are posted.
