1. Overview
MedCertify ("the App") is operated by SoftLog ("we", "us"). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
2. Information you enter
The App allows you to record credential information (such as license types, issuing bodies, expiration dates, credential numbers, and CME activities). This information is stored locally on your device.
3. Data storage
Your records are stored on-device using Apple's local storage frameworks (SwiftData) and are encrypted at rest via iOS Data Protection. We do not operate a backend service for the App and we do not receive your data.
4. Documents
Documents you import (certificates, PDFs, photos) are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to any server.
5. Biometric authentication
If you enable Face ID or Touch ID, authentication is handled entirely by iOS. We do not access or store biometric data.
6. Notifications
If you enable renewal reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers.
7. Purchases
If you choose to purchase or restore a subscription, those transactions are processed by Apple (StoreKit). We do not collect or store your payment card details.
8. Analytics and advertising
The App does not include third-party advertising SDKs. We do not use third-party analytics trackers in the App.
9. Health data
The App does not collect, store, or transmit patient health data. It is a personal organization tool for tracking your own professional credentials.
10. Data retention and deletion
Your records remain on your device until you delete them from within the App or uninstall the App.
