This policy applies specifically to MedCertify. For product help or purchase questions, use MedCertify Support.

1. Summary

MedCertify is designed to store credential, CME, and related professional records on your device. We use Apple and RevenueCat to process in-app purchases and purchase entitlement status. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not operate a backend that receives your credential records for core app storage.

2. Information We Process

Depending on how you use MedCertify, the app may store locally license and credential details, renewal dates, issuing bodies, CME activities, document files you import (such as PDFs and photos of certificates), and app preferences. Data is protected with on-device storage mechanisms such as SwiftData and iOS Data Protection. Face ID and Touch ID, if enabled, are handled by iOS. Renewal reminders are scheduled locally. The app is a personal tool for your professional compliance records; it is not a system for patient health records. The app does not include third-party advertising SDKs. We do not use third-party analytics trackers in the app.

3. Purchase and entitlement information

If you purchase or restore a in-app purchases, billing and receipt processing is handled by Apple and RevenueCat. Data processed can include product identifiers (for example app entitlement identifiers), purchase, renewal, expiration, cancellation, and restore events, entitlement status (for example access to MedCertify Pro or equivalent optional purchase option features), and app user identifiers and technical metadata needed to validate purchases and prevent fraud.

4. Diagnostics and security metadata

We and our service providers may process limited technical data required for reliability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.

5. Third-Party Services

6. How We Use Information

We use data to provide app functionality, verify purchase entitlement and restore purchases, improve reliability and security, and comply with legal obligations.

7. Data Sharing

We share data only as needed with processors and platforms that enable the app to function (for example Apple and RevenueCat), legal compliance, and security operations. We do not sell personal information.

8. Data Retention

On-device credential, document, and CME data remains on your device unless you delete it. in-app purchases records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat under their own retention policies.

9. Your Choices and Rights

You can cancel or manage in-app purchases in Apple account settings, use Restore Purchases in MedCertify to re-sync entitlements, delete data from within the app where provided, and contact us for privacy requests.

10. Children

MedCertify is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in violation of applicable law.

11. International Users

Service providers may process data in countries other than your own, subject to applicable legal safeguards.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Last updated date will be revised when changes are posted.
