Privacy Policy — ChargebackGuard
Last updated: 2026-04-25
1. Summary
Core case workflows and evidence organization features are designed to work locally on-device. We use Apple and RevenueCat to process in-app subscriptions and entitlement status. We do not sell your personal data.
2. Information We Process
Depending on how you use ChargebackGuard, the app may store locally dispute case records, due dates, reason codes, disputed amounts, merchant account labels, case notes, evidence timelines, and app preferences/settings.
3. Evidence and documents
Evidence attachments you add (for example receipts, shipment records, communication logs, screenshots, and PDFs) are stored on your device unless you explicitly export or share them.
4. Subscription and billing information
If you purchase or restore a subscription, billing and receipt processing is handled by Apple and RevenueCat. Data processed can include product identifiers (for example monthly and yearly), purchase, renewal, expiration, cancellation, and restore events, entitlement status, and app user identifiers or technical metadata needed to validate purchases and prevent fraud.
5. Diagnostics and security metadata
We and our service providers may process limited technical data required for reliability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
6. Third-Party Services
ChargebackGuard uses Apple App Store / StoreKit for payments and subscriptions, and RevenueCat for subscription infrastructure and entitlement management. See https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/ and https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
7. How We Use Information
We use data to provide app functionality, verify subscription entitlement and restore purchases, improve reliability and security, and comply with legal obligations.
8. Data Sharing
We share data only as needed with processors and platforms that enable the app to function (for example Apple and RevenueCat), legal compliance, and security operations. We do not sell personal information.
9. Data Retention
On-device case records remain on your device unless you delete them. Subscription records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat under their own retention policies.
10. Your Choices and Rights
You can manage subscriptions in Apple account settings, use Restore Purchases in the app to re-sync entitlements, delete app data where provided, and contact us for privacy requests.
11. International Users
Service providers may process data in countries other than your own, subject to applicable legal safeguards.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Last updated date will be revised when changes are posted.
