1. Summary
Birdie AI is designed as a local-first golf improvement app. Profile choices, rounds, holes, stats, coach messages, notes, goals, achievements, and practice options are intended to stay on your device unless you choose to share or export them.
2. Golf information you enter
The App may store handicap range, goals, round scores, putts, fairways, greens, penalties, hole details, course names, practice notes, and related golf history so coaching and stats can function.
3. Voice import
Birdie AI may request microphone and speech recognition access only when you start voice import. Speech is used to create a transcript and structured round data for your review. Raw audio is not retained by default.
4. On-device insights
Birdie AI may use Apple platform technologies and bundled on-device logic to rank scoring leaks and generate practice suggestions. The app does not require a backend for core round analysis.
5. Sharing and exports
Any note, report, screenshot, or shared text is created only when you choose to share it. Any destination is selected by you through iOS sharing tools.
6. Purchases
If you purchase or restore app access, billing is handled by Apple. Purchase infrastructure and entitlement verification may involve Apple systems and RevenueCat. We do not collect payment card details directly.
7. Data retention and deletion
Locally stored Birdie AI records remain on your device until you delete them in the app where available or remove the app from the device. Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase records under their own policies.
8. Children
Birdie AI is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age in your region. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in violation of applicable law.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Last updated date will be revised when changes are posted.
