1. Service Description

Khitab is an Islamic lifestyle and companion app for learning, reflection, and daily use. It does not provide legal, medical, or individualized religious rulings (fatwa), and it does not replace qualified scholars, imams, or local community guidance.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be legally able to use this service under the laws of your jurisdiction and applicable app store rules.

3. Purchases and Billing

Khitab may offer in-app purchases through Apple. The App Store displays purchase information before confirmation, and Apple handles purchase management, cancellation, and refund requests.

4. Entitlements and Restore Purchases

Khitab uses RevenueCat and Apple systems to verify purchase status and deliver optional entitlements. If entitlement status appears out of sync, use Restore Purchases in the app.

5. Refunds

Purchases are billed by Apple. Refunds are subject to Apple refund policies and processes.

6. Religious and educational use

The app may present educational, devotional, or cultural content. You remain responsible for seeking qualified Islamic scholarship and local guidance for personal religious questions and for verifying anything you rely on in worship or life decisions.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse engineer, interfere with, or abuse the app or payment systems; use the app for unlawful or harassing conduct; or attempt to bypass in-app purchases or entitlement controls.

8. Intellectual Property

Khitab, including software, branding, and content (excluding third-party marks and text attributed to public religious sources or licensors), is protected by intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimers

Khitab is provided on an as is and as available basis to the extent permitted by law. We make no warranty that the app will be uninterrupted or error-starter.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from use of the app.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if required by law, app store policy, security concerns, or material violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws in the jurisdiction specified by the service provider, unless consumer protection law requires otherwise.
