1. Summary
Khitab is an Islamic lifestyle companion designed with privacy-respecting patterns and local-first use where possible. We use Apple and RevenueCat to process in-app purchases and purchase entitlement status. We do not sell your personal data.
2. Information We Process
Depending on how you use Khitab, the app may store locally or in your account (if offered) preferences, session state, content you read or mark, optional notes, widget-related glance data, and app settings. If optional sign-in, sync, or account features are offered, they will be described in the app with clear controls. Core experiences are designed to avoid engagement-maximizing patterns that pressure oversharing. The app does not include third-party advertising SDKs in core workflows.
3. Purchase and entitlement information
If you purchase or restore a in-app purchases, billing and receipt processing is handled by Apple and RevenueCat. Data processed can include product identifiers (for example app entitlement identifiers), purchase, renewal, expiration, cancellation, and restore events, entitlement status (for example access to Khitab optional purchase option features), and app user identifiers and technical metadata needed to validate purchases and prevent fraud.
4. Diagnostics and security metadata
We and our service providers may process limited technical data required for reliability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.
5. Third-Party Services
Khitab uses Apple App Store / StoreKit for payments and in-app purchases, and RevenueCat for purchase infrastructure and entitlement management. 6. How We Use Information
We use data to provide app functionality, verify purchase entitlement and restore purchases, improve reliability and security, and comply with legal obligations.
7. Data Sharing
We share data only as needed with processors and platforms that enable the app to function (for example Apple and RevenueCat), legal compliance, and security operations. We do not sell personal information.
8. Data Retention
On-device and account data follows product deletion and retention settings where provided. in-app purchases records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat under their own retention policies.
9. Your Choices and Rights
You can cancel or manage in-app purchases in Apple account settings, use Restore Purchases in Khitab to re-sync entitlements, delete data or accounts from within the app where provided, and contact us for privacy requests.
10. Children
Khitab is a general-audience lifestyle and devotion companion and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in violation of applicable law.
11. International Users
Service providers may process data in countries other than your own, subject to applicable legal safeguards.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Last updated date will be revised when changes are posted.
