Last updated: 2026-05-06

1. Service Description

HearLog is a personal tracking and reminder tool for hearing aid users. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice or audiological guidance.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be legally able to use this service under the laws of your jurisdiction and applicable app store rules.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

HearLog may offer auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchases. By purchasing a subscription: payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase; the subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple account settings; and any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.

4. Entitlements and Restore Purchases

HearLog uses RevenueCat and Apple systems to verify subscription status and deliver premium entitlements. If entitlement status appears out of sync, use Restore Purchases in the app.

5. Refunds

Purchases are billed by Apple. Refunds are subject to Apple refund policies and processes.

6. User Responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you log. HearLog is an organizational tool. It does not replace the advice of an audiologist or hearing health professional.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse engineer, interfere with, or abuse the app or payment systems; use the app for unlawful purposes; or attempt to bypass subscription or entitlement controls.

8. Intellectual Property

HearLog, including software, branding, and content (excluding third-party marks and content), is protected by intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimers

HearLog is provided on an as is and as available basis to the extent permitted by law. We make no warranty that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if required by law, app store policy, security concerns, or material violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws in the jurisdiction specified by the service provider, unless consumer protection law requires otherwise.
