1. Summary

CPAP Insight is designed to keep session data, health metrics, and therapy records on your device. We use Apple and RevenueCat to process in-app in-app purchases and entitlement status. We do not sell your personal data.

2. Information We Process

Depending on how you use CPAP Insight, the app may store locally imported CPAP session records, AHI and leak rate logs, pressure history, compliance streaks, and app preferences. If you connect Apple Health, the app reads SpO2, HRV, heart rate, and sleep stage data with your explicit permission. CPAP Insight does not write health data to HealthKit without separate explicit permission. If you connect a cloud data source such as myAir, the app retrieves session data on your behalf and stores it locally.

3. Purchase and entitlement information

If you purchase or restore a in-app purchases, billing and receipt processing is handled by Apple and RevenueCat. Data processed can include product identifiers, purchase and renewal events, entitlement status, and app user identifiers needed to validate purchases.

4. Diagnostics and security metadata

We and our service providers may process limited technical data required for reliability, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting.

5. Third-Party Services

CPAP Insight uses Apple App Store / StoreKit for payments and in-app purchases, Apple HealthKit for optional health data integration, and RevenueCat for purchase infrastructure and entitlement management. See https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/ and https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.

6. How We Use Information

We use data to provide app functionality, verify purchase entitlement and restore purchases, improve reliability and security, and comply with legal obligations.

7. Data Sharing

We share data only as needed with processors and platforms that enable the app to function (Apple, RevenueCat), legal compliance, and security operations. We do not sell personal information.

8. Data Retention

On-device session records and health data remain on your device unless you delete them. in-app purchases records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat under their own retention policies.

9. Your Choices and Rights

You can manage or cancel in-app purchases in Apple account settings, use Restore Purchases to re-sync entitlements, revoke HealthKit access at any time in iPhone settings, and contact us for privacy requests.

10. Medical Disclaimer

CPAP Insight is a personal data tracking and visualization tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Always follow your prescribing physician or sleep specialist guidance for therapy decisions.

11. Children

CPAP Insight is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in violation of applicable law.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The Last updated date will be revised when changes are posted.
