1. Overview
PoolCheck ("the App") is operated by SoftLog ("we", "us"). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
2. Operational records
The App stores pool/spa profiles, chemical readings, pass/fail outcomes, corrective action notes, and user-entered operator identifiers.
3. Optional media evidence
If you attach photos to readings or tasks, media files are stored locally on your device unless you explicitly export them.
4. Local reminders and schedules
Test reminders are scheduled locally on-device using your configured cadence.
5. Local-first storage
Compliance logs are stored on-device using Apple local frameworks. We do not require a backend for core logging.
6. Purchases
Premium purchases are processed by Apple (StoreKit). We do not collect payment card details.
7. Retention and deletion
Logs remain on your device until deleted in-app or removed when the app is uninstalled.
