1. Privacy Commitment
Faceguard AI ("the App") is dedicated to your facial privacy. We believe your biometric data belongs to you alone.
2. On-Device Processing
All facial recognition, feature extraction (Vision framework), and similarity analysis (Core ML) occur strictly on your device. We do not transmit your biometric data to any external servers.
3. Data Encryption
Any biometric data stored on your device is encrypted using AES-256 via CryptoKit. This ensures that even if the device is compromised, your facial embeddings remain secure.
4. Persistent Storage
We use SwiftData for persistent storage of your scan history and embeddings. This data remains on your device and is not synced to our servers.
5. Permissions
The App requires Camera access (AVFoundation) for scanning and Background Task permissions for monitoring. These are used solely for the App's core security functions.
6. Subscriptions
Subscription data is handled by Apple via StoreKit 2. We do not have access to your payment information.
